GIRL SCOUTS BADGE DAY - HORNETS NEST COUNCIL

Join our 2nd annual Girl Scouts Badge Day at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Scouts will have the opportunity to earn a series of badges by participating throughout the day.

Each session is specialized for the scout level and provides scouts with hands-on learning.

Brownie, Daisy, Junior Programming

Automotive Badge Session:
3 badges (Automotive Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing).
Scouts will explore why we have cars, their different functions, and how they are engineered and manufactured.

Mechanical Engineering Badge Session: Provides scouts with hands-on learning to explore how machines work. Scouts will earn at least two badges for each level.
Additional activity sheet so that leaders can earn the last badge of the series.

Daisy: Roller Coaster and Model Car Design Brownie: Leap Bot and Race Car Design
Junior: Paddle Boat and Balloon Car Design

Cadette, Senior, Ambassador Programming
STEM Career Badge
Think like and Engineer Badge

  • Registration required for all participants.
  • Payment is due at registration.
  • 50 scouts per session/scout level
  • Troops may register as a troop by including scout level and number of scouts at registration
  • A leader (registered with the Girl Scout Council) or a parent (for Juliette Scouts) must accompany the scouts.
  • Please do not drop off children unaccompanied.
  • REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Monday, February 23
